Another good trip today on the infamous Lake Toho in Kissimmee, Fl. I had a Mr John and Mr. Jody, out of Columbia, Sc, joining me for a trip today. With early spring high pressures, a small cold front rolling in and some dense fog in the morning today’s bite was tougher than normal. Despite the circumstances the fish were biting. The day started a bit slow, so after about 45 minutes of this I decided to start moving around a bit, rather than sitting, and immediately we started catching fish. My customers put 7 good fish in the boat over the next couple hours. We had that dense fog around us until that beautiful Flordia sunshine came out around 10:00am. The trip was scheduled to end at 10:30, but I just wasn’t happy with the day we had so far, so I decided to give them some extra time. With an hour left, we strapped the rods down and headed across the lake to another good area. The fishing continued to improve under the now clear, beautiful sky’s. They quickly put four more in the boat, with two of good quality, a 4 1/2 and a 6 pound bass. With our day coming to a close, the boys were happy with how well the day turned around and I was satisfied to see the smiles on the faces. Their pictures of their fish taken, we packed her up and headed in, to end yet another day here in the sunshine state.
Till next time tight lines and good fishing….
